Forum Guidelines
By using the forums you agree to obey the following guidelines. Refusal to obey these guidelines will result in the appropriate responsive actions.
1. You may not post any racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discriminations.
2. Personal Attacks and Flames will not be tolerated. If you want to praise or criticize, give examples as to why it is good or bad, general attacks on a person or idea, either by posts or personal messaging, will not be tolerated.
3. Posts may not contain foul language or obscene images. There is a word filter in place to stop some words.
4. Do not post the same message twice, even in different forums. If you have posted in the wrong place it will be moved by a moderator.
5. You may not spam the forums.
6. One account per person. If one person is found to have two accounts, the second account will be deleted and the actual account may be suspended.
7. If you have posted a question, and your problem has been solved either by another poster, or on your own, then please post a message saying that the issue has been resolved.
8. Keep it clear. It's very easy to misinterpret what people are saying via e-mail. Therefore, we should all ensure that our posts are as clear as possible. Also remember that we have to be tolerant of those for whom english is not their first language.
9. Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM. If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to the forum admin. The forum admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions.
10. Users must show respect to the moderators, administrators, and other users at all times.
11. If a topic is recognized as being posted in the wrong forum, or if the post is a violation of our guidelines then please contact a moderator either via PM or the 'report post to moderator' feature; please do not respond publicly to the member - a member of staff will do what is required upon contact. Any person/s who attempt to present themselves as a Moderator by posting negatively to a member's topic will be punished.
12. Keep it legal. No posts in aid of pirating intellectual property, pyramid scams or other illegal activities will be tolerated. No links to warez or to sites that promote copyright infringement of any type. No hacking or cracking of any sort. Since this site has an international following and since what is considered illegal can vary from country to country, the moderators will decide if a post is acceptable or not.
13. Do not post in capital letters or use multiple exclamation marks.
14. No advertising. Administrators may sell advertising space on this forum, but you cannot start a topic about your own forum.
15. These rules may be changed at any time based on my opinion. Users who fail to obey them will be punished depending on the severity of their actions. it is recommended that users read the help files(in particular those related to moderators and to banning, suspending, warning and deleting users), to get an idea of what will be done.
Complaints: Complaints about a post my be made either by personal messaging a moderatoror administrator, or by clicking the "Report Post" link. Any other complaints my be made by personal messaging a moderator or administrator.
